• Took both the two-year training courses in Hypnotherapy of The South Australian Association of Hypnotherapists and later, The Australian Society of Hypnosis
• Two-year training course in Family Therapy at the Dulwich Centre (Adelaide)

• Current member (and Past President) of the South Australian Association of Hypnotherapists - Continue as Psychological Liaison Officer

• Elected President, Institute of Private Practising Psychologists (IPPP) since 2000. The IPPP is the South Australian chapter of Psychology Private Australia, which is the peak body representing private practitioners in Psychology in Australia.
